The Club Scannán Sailearna committee are currently planning the Autumn 2020 season.

Given the challenging and uncertain context in which we find ourselves things are going to be different but we are confident that with the appropriate planning our members can enjoy another successful season of films in the Seanscoil.

As we plan a way forward we would like to hear the views of as many current and past club members as possible.

If you would your views taken into account please take a few minutes to complete this short survey in which you can share your thoughts.

As the Allies sweep across Germany, teenager Lore leads her siblings on a journey that exposes them to the truth of their parents' beliefs. An encounter with a mysterious refugee forces Lore to rely on a person she has always been taught to hate. This wonderful adaptation of the novel The Dark Room by Rachel Seiffert is a sensual and complex story that explores the tribulations faced by the young in the aftermath of World War II. A coming-of-age tale set against the backdrop of a changing world, Lore shows new life emerging out of darkness with intelligence and subtlety.

Winner - Audience Award, Locarno International Film Festival 2012
