This dazzling South American thriller in Spanish sees the one actor cast twice as twin brothers whose deadly pact plunges them into the sordid depths of the Argentinean underworld. Augustin is a married doctor trapped in the boring comfortable life of posh Buenos Aires, while his twin brother Pedro lives in the margins of society among outcasts, refugees and ex-convicts. Pedro pays his brother, the doctor, a visit and revels he has a terminal illness. He draws the unwitting Augustin into a criminal underworld, in which his violent fight for survival begins.
