The Club Scannán Sailearna committee are currently planning the Autumn 2020 season.

Given the challenging and uncertain context in which we find ourselves things are going to be different but we are confident that with the appropriate planning our members can enjoy another successful season of films in the Seanscoil.

As we plan a way forward we would like to hear the views of as many current and past club members as possible.

If you would your views taken into account please take a few minutes to complete this short survey in which you can share your thoughts.

(L’Économie du couple)

After Love thumb
Director: Joachim Lafosse
France, Belgium 2016
100 minutes
Cert: CLUB

After 15 years together, a separating couple battle over their stylish apartment, revealing the complexities of their relationship and the depth of the rifts between them. Marie and Boris are calling it quits, but can’t resolve the details of the division of their prize asset, the wonderful apartment they share with their young twin daughters and continue living together. Marie is the breadwinner in the relationship, but it was her family's wealth, that allowed the couple to purchase their stylish apartment. On the other hand it was her husband’s renovation work that added significant value to the property! The film avoids taking sides in this absorbing family drama, inviting the audience to see that both parties are right, and both are wrong.
