This tense Iranian drama won the coveted Silver Bear award for Best Director at the Berlin Film Festival. At a weekend away for a group of well to do Iranian couples – all former classmates from lawschool - at a Caspian seaside resort, Elly goes missing. Elly is uncomfortable at the attention she is getting from one of the guests, who has recently returned to Iran from Germany, after his marriage there failed. The friends search for their missing guest, only to discover that not everything is as it seems from the outside.
