The story of a young man obliged to leave the bustle of Johannesburg behind him to return home to his native Lesotho upon learning of the death of his father. He discovers a romantic spark with a childhood friend but her disapproving father sends her away. Resolving to win her back he enlists the help of a young orphan boy to guide him through the mountainous rural terrain.
